Message | Committee Chairman Kyle Carlston,MP: Welcome all Colleagues,MPs.Today marks the formal initiation of Committee work.We hope to achieve the conclusion as fast as we can.As House Speaker & Senate President have delegated the responsibility & powers on us & as such to make any other appropriate rules to our assistance, we begin our work. To state for record, the References as delivered call for trial against the Governor General Davies for overstepping her authority, misuse of power & politicising the office of Governor General. Our first item of agenda is calling all the relevant officials & witnesses to record their statement for the facilitation of Committee. |

Message | I would also like to add that what we hope to achieve is accountability in a fair & transparent manner & nothing else.I hope all committee members join me in this.Other members can now make their statements. |

Message | The first evidence that should be presented to this committee is the fact that the Governor General proposed a cabinet that contained only members of her political party in an attempt to assert complete control of this country. It was a defacto coup attempt by her and thankfully it failed. George Bittersmith MP |

Message | Mr. Speaker, Dear colleagues, I would like to remember everyone in this house that Mrs. Davies was re-elected by an absolute majority of voters. And only the people of Luthori can decide who should be in power. The Rally for the Empire wants to elect a "blank candidate". If that is not contrary to our Constitution, I don't know what it is. Mrs. Davies has politicized her office because the Presidency was abolished against the will of the people with an unrepresentative parliament. The Luthorian people want a Republic and the Left Party will work towards this goal. Prime Minister Robert Andersson. |

Message | Deputy Chair of the Committee, Senator Mark Tyler: We Welcome Prime Minister to the Committee.Prime Minister do you realise that justifying the politicisation of the office of the Governor General doesn't lower the nature of alleged felony & aiding, abetting & facilitating any crime makes oneself a criminal. We hope you're not saying that Governor General did right by politicising the office. Are you? |

Message | Mr. Tyler, There is no crime in the penal code for a Governor-General expressing her opinion on policy matters or recommending a cabinet. This is nonsense and yes, Mrs. Davies, has the right to use the Governor-General office as she sees fit, within the boundaries of the Constitution. Furthermore, public officials such as the Governor-General are protected by parliamentary immunity. Prime Minister Robert Andersson. |

Message | You just admitted that the Governor General committed treason. No, she does not act how she sees fit and instead is supposed to represent His Imperial Majesty. Parliamentary immunity applies to the members of parliament not the head of state. I repeat parliamentary immunity applies to members of parliament! Heads on spikes won't come soon enough for Ms. Davies. George Bittersmith MP |

Message | Deputy Chair, Senator Mark Tyler: Hon' members just to summarise the PM doesn't recognize the politicising of office of Governor General as a wrongdoing on part of Governor General Davies. Can the Prime Minister state what position(s) did he held during the previous term of Governor General Davies either in or outside Parliament? |

Message | CPPL MP, Jason Sanchez: The Governor-General has overstepped her position as the representative of the monarchy. While the royal family are oppressive, they have their rights. The Governor-General must be ousted due to her petty politicization of the neutral position. She must be banned from politics. |

Message | Chairman of Committee, Hon'Kyls Carlston : The Parliamentary Investigation Committee has completed its deliberation over the matter of references against the Former Governor General Charlotte Davied and has reached following conclusion: ~ We are of view that although the Governor General Neutrality bill was passed years later after establishment of post of GG but the office of Governor General was never meant to be an active political office. The framers of Commonwealth established the office as a Compromise between the Republicans & Monarchists to avoid conflict. If Governor General was meant to be an active political office then there would be no difference between it & the President. The duties of Governor General includes the inauguration of new parliament every elections & state opening of new parliamentary sessions every year, approving the appointments of ministers, approving thw advises tendered by the Government, speeches of non political nature approved by the Government via Governor General's office & attending formal government events and other non political duties as approved by the Government & may include reception of foreign officials as well. This office is a symbol of unity & should be maintained as such. ~The Governor General Davies did exact opposite,She was highly involved in politics & even mentioned herself as the head of a political party & attended & made political speeches disregarding her obligations. From elections campaigns to Political speeches to recommending cabinets of her own choices were all violation of the protocol & norms. ~Considering & Keeping in view all of the decisions & circumstances we recommend that the Charlotte Davies be disqualified lifetime from running for any office (elective & official) & is fined Β£10 Million (LPD) & sentenced to 1 year imprisonment. ~The Report has been sent to Speaker of House & President of Senate to be laid before the Houses. I thank all the Hon' members of the committee who assisted in the process & all the officials of the Government spanning over years belonging to different political parties. It is a great & historic achievement.Thankyou all. |
