These messages have been posted to debate on this bill:
Date | 02:24:54, June 08, 2006 CET | From | Cruzada Tradicionalista Sekowana | To | Debating the Free Economy Law of 2239 |
Message | We can agree, more or less with Articles 1, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11. The rest go so far wrong that we can't vote for this bill. Drop some articles or at least moderate them and let us continue this debate. |
Date | 06:10:18, June 08, 2006 CET | From | People's Liberation Army | To | Debating the Free Economy Law of 2239 |
Message | Article 2: Energy should be nationalized. Article 3: There is no middle ground between the current law and the new proposal. Workers have the right to strike without the fear of unemployment. Article 6: The people own the gears of Sekowo! Why should fat cats get fatter from the work of the people? We will change Article 2 to just price regulation if you agree to Article 6 as is. |
Date | 00:39:20, June 10, 2006 CET | From | Drake Party | To | Debating the Free Economy Law of 2239 |
Message | The Drake Party agrees with the SRLS that there is too much government control in this bill. 2, 3, & 6 must go. We also disagree with 1,5, 7, 8, 9 & 11. Maybe the best solution is to break up these large bills into smaller ones that we can make more progress on. |

Random quote: "The moral justification of capitalism does not lie in the altruist claim that it represents the best way to achieve 'the common good.' It is true that capitalism does, if that catch-phrase has any meaning, but this is merely a secondary consequence. The moral justification for capitalism lies in the fact that it is the only system consonant with man's rational nature, that it protects man's survival qua man, and that its ruling principle is justice." - Ayn Rand |
