| After low opinion polls and continuing criticism from CPM party members, communist leader Brian Adams has resigned. The Party council has chosen his rival and progressive Nicolas Starmer as the next party leader. In a recent statement starmer announced major changes for the party including a return to social progressive positions, the goal of working togehter strong with the smaller left-wing parties and an end of toleration for the DNP minority government after this legislature. |
