Description[?]:

Mr Speaker,

United Luthori is a party that has just been founded, of course, and we will want to create a liberal and conservative image to respond to the desires of the right to come to power after years of domination by the left and the center, this bill is a manifesto of our very liberal positions economically. I would like to take a moment to explain why we take these positions.

On Article 1, we believe that the Bank of Luthori should be maintained, because it is the largest bank in the country and the one that sets many limits at the banking level, and to remove it, would, in our opinion, be an economic disaster for Luthori, the fact is, we oppose any sluggish interference by the state in the banking system and the economy, which brings into this position, the fact that His Majesty's Government appoints the head of the central bank and the executive council. We therefore propose that the Bank of Luthori be independent of any governmental or political supervision and become an independent agency of the Government.

On article 2, as said before, we oppose too much state interference in the economy. We want to encourage the private sector to create competitive companies, and to do so, we want to privatize most public companies, reduce the funds allocated by the government to its budget and drastically lower the taxes imposed on individuals and companies.

On article 3, as said before, we want to privatize the main state enterprises and lower government investment in the economy and lower taxes for individuals and professionals.

On article 4, we repeated that we are against slow state intervention, but exceptional state intervention to save companies facing bankruptcy is quite acceptable to us, even if we would like see corporations fend for themselves in a highly capitalized society, we will have to realize that Luthori's automoblie giants have left the country for a country with better opportunities for them, Tropica and that the corporate giants that are remained in Luthori are very affected by the lack of opportunities offered to Luthori and by the too slow intervention of the state in their affairs.

Thank you for listening to me, dear MD's.
I yield.
William Stripher, Earl of Williamsbrough, Mayor of Georgetown, Leader of United Luthori
