| We must prepare for circumstances that number of representatives attending Assembleia da República will be significantly lower than as mandated by constitution, if this happens we propose this bill. Article I If number of representatives attending Assembleia da República becomes 300 or lower, all parties attending the Assembleia da República have duty to call early elections. Article II If 3 or more parties dissolve within 4 years, all parties attending the Assembleia da República have duty to call early elections. |

| Message | Since there was no debate, we will be forced to vote no. We like the bill's idea, but we believe that a percentage should be set in place, instead of a fixed number. We propose an Article with this wording. "If number of representatives attending the Assembleia da República becomes less than 85% of the number of seats, all parties attending the Assembleia da República have a duty to call early elections." The effective law to the current number of seats would be to call EE when less than 302 seats were filled, but it would be scalable to other seat numbers. We believe this change is absolutely necessary since the law would create a legal hole for the case of an Assembleia da República with 299 seats, for example. It would also set the bar incredibly low for an Assembleia with 750 seats. |
