MessageA federally run system would lead to less disparity in quality between regions of differing affluence.

MessageI dont want a federal system. Waste of taxes. I really dont want a local system. But the locals should be able to do so if they wish.

MessageWe think that a system of privatly contracted libraries would be the best solution (as we have already said). This provides a national system of libraries, but with the costs and maintanence borne and provided by private comapnies rather than taxpayers.

MessageIf the private companies are maintaining these libraries, will they also have control over what books can be in these libraries. Will the Government still be allowed to step in if these Corporations start banning books?

MessageWhilst inevitably private companies will have a certain degre of control over the exact books which they purchase to place in their libraries, it would obviously be stipulated in the contracts whcih they enter into with government that they cannot ban books and that the books on offer should reflect the broad range of interests of the Telamonian people. If they breach these contracts then of course the government can take action

Random fact: Particracy does not allow role-play that seems to belong to the world of fantasy, science fiction and futuristic speculation.
