Bill: Reform of law regarding euthanasia
Details
Submitted by[?]: Conservative Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: June 2240
Description[?]:
Euthanasia is basically to legalize a murder on the reason it is for the best of the killed individual, we acknowledge this might be the case to some, but to allow this decision to be taken by the patient and the treating doctor, with no understanding of the law and biased and could have other personal reasons to agree. It only seem right to have the decision taken by a third part, which ofcourse would be the court, the justice of our nation. |
Proposals

Old value:: Euthanasia is allowed with consent from the patient and the treating doctor.
Current: Euthanasia is allowed with consent from the patient and the treating doctor.

Message | The MLP believes people have the right to do what they want with their life so long as it does not endanger others. This includes the right to end their life. This is a deeply personal decision that should only be made by the patient, not some judge after hearing 5 minute arguments. We vote no. |

Random fact: Players have a responsibility to differentiate between OOC (out-of-character) and IC (in-character) behaviour, and to make clear when they are communicating in OOC or IC terms. Since Particracy is a role-playing game, IC excesses are generally fine, but OOC attacks are not. However, players must not presume this convention permits them to harass a player with IC remarks that have a clear OOC context. |
