| https://particracy.fandom.com/wiki/5210_Luthorian_local_elections The Blue Coalitions wins the elections. With three duchies won, the Blue Coalition is by far the largest coalition in the country. However, with 33.73% of the votes in Middenriding, the coalition almost lost to the Middenriding Conservative Alternative, a local list which is second with 33.53% of the votes. In Shipleyriding, the Conservative Homeland Party is clearly ahead and wins a majority of seats. In Middenriding, the Rally for the Empire is ahead and in Erneshire, the LCP is ahead. The local parties fared well in all duchies but made a real breakthrough in Orange. The Orange Independents won an astonishing 64.6% of the votes, crushing the opposition with a whopping 79 seats out of 101 majority. The United Opposition Front, composed of the LP, LSP and CLU lost the duchy of Middenriding but won Northriding with 32.26% of the votes. However, there is a political crisis because the CLU decided to quickly leave the United Opposition Front and support the Blue Coalition. But the Blue Coalition also lacks a majority. The political crisis will have to be solved! For the Luthorian Democrats, this election is a crushing defeat. They lost their stronghold Northriding, that they held since 5190. They also made their worst result in the duchy since 5185. In all the other duchies, the party falls below the electoral treshold. |
