Message | Whilst some of the points in this Bill cause us a little concern, in the main we endorse many of the proposals outlined, and thank Axis Mundi Revolution! for the hard work they clearly put in draftingsuch a wide-ranging and mostly positive Bill. Regrettably, all this hard work was undone by the parties near-rabid need to outlaw religion. Whilst the Manion Party does not support any specific religion per se, we feel that such a motion is the first step toward the creation of 'thought-crime' style bills. For many, pernal spirituality is an important part of their lives, for others, religious organizations play an important social role. It is with regret, then, that we cannot endorse this Bill. |
