Bill: RP: Call for Sanity
Details

Voting deadline: March 5234
Description[?]:
Mr. Speaker, We want this Parliament to recognise the continued failures of this so-called House of Commons to serve the citizens of this Holy Empire. The House of Commons have failed to oversee a proper formation of government, and as a result we all have failed in our most basic duty, which is to govern. Since the election we still have no ruling cabinet and without proper reform the Empire is doomed to fail. We now ask that His Majesty, with the support of the military of course, to take the reigns of this country unless a new government is formed immediately. It is clear that parliament continues to dither amongst itself like old wives at the fish market and it's time that our great Emperor, who is a symbol of authority in this nation, shall heroically take the reigns and guide us like a shepherd guiding his sheep. With the passing of this bill, His Majesty shall be appointed to lead the formation of a Council for National Unity to rule unless a new government is formed immediately. All Hail Luthori! |

Message | Mr. Speaker, I would to address the honourable Left MP and simply say to him that His Majesty is here to serve the Luthorian people. Which is something that parliament has failed to do. Hail the Emperor. Peter Stoutson |

Message | Mr Speaker, We wish to address all honourable MPs by saying that the parliament has only failed to serve Luthori because its parties focus on trivial matters such as whether the parliament should be called the House of Commons or the Imperial Diet (I ask you: what could matter less?) rather than working to make Luthori a better place for all. An absolute monarchy would contradict even the title of this proposal, as there is no sanity to it whatsoever. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, The renaming of institutions comes with actual reform, as in the re introduction of the Crown's Privy Council, which is currently non-existent. This Privy Council would rule the Holy Empire in times of crisis like now when there is no government. This isn't about semantic names but real constitutional changes. I yield. |

Message | Mr Speaker, And yet, the names seem to matter more than the consequences. The ‘Privy Council’ sounds like an anti-democratic excuse for totalitarianism. Why would the renaming even matter? Why couldn’t the ‘Privy Council’ just be installed into the House of Commons system, if it must be installed at all? |

Message | Mr. Speaker, We grow tired of conversing with the 9 MPs who call themselves a political party. Haha a party? Sounds more like a dull affair to me. Peter Stoutson |
