Voting deadline: December 5315
Description[?]:
Today, the Shipleyriding ducal legislature sat in stunned silence as Minister-President Benjamin Smith crossed the floor to join the Whigs. In his speech afterwards, he attributed the move to his centrism and espousal of the Whigs’ policy. He said that he’d always cherish his time at the Centre and that he’d see this as a stepping stone to something greater. However, the feeling of respect was NOT mutual. Although those of the former Centre who had left for the Whigs were supportive of him, the feeling in the SDA was summed up by one short sentence by Smith’s Northriding counterpart: “Is he a puppet of the LCP-Whig alliance, or is he doing this as a joke? It doesn’t matter in the end, we‘re still in control of Shipleyriding.” |

Random quote: "Soldiers are not the enemies of the movement. They're potential allies. They're more than that. Soldiers are the only people in America who are paying a stiff price for this war. Everybody else profits. Soldiers are the ones losing their lives, losing friends, having their lives disrupted. The real victims of American imperialism are its soldiers." - Fred Gardner |
