Bill: Motion of No Confidence against the Pearce Cabinet

Details

Submitted by[?]: Liberal Socialist Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill requests an early election. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline. Elections will be held immediately if the bill passes.

Voting deadline: February 5248

Description[?]:

We believe the austerity plan of this cabinet is illegitimate because a majority of voters never would have approved such a plan, if it was explained to them BEFORE the elections. Recent polls show only 20% support the new austerity plan. How can you then claim to have the legitimacy to govern?
Against this ultra-liberal, anti-social and dangerous austerity plan, we have no other choice but to present this motion of no confidence. When millions of people are thrown into poverty by this cabinet, then we have to act, and quickly.

MessageMr. Speaker,

This government is untied and going to lead until the next general elections. We warned the Labour Party’s new wing when they refused to support by elections that it would change the landscape. They brought this on yourselves.

MessageMr. Speaker,
So when this fails you're proving that parliament has given confidence to this government. Brilliant idea I say.
