Message | Mr. Speaker, Typical Labour behaviour! They have no knowledge of finance, no plan and did no calculations. This proposal will do nothing but put us back in fiscal crisis. Let this House know that ALL that vote infavour of this bill supports a DEFICIT of 20,5 BILLION LPD per YEAR. How will this stimulate our economy? How will it show investors and those who borrow us money show that we are a fiscal responsible government? The honourable gentlemen doesnt even know his numbers! SHAME! SHAME ON YOU! Our debt was 650.813.819.480,- LPD when we took office! That is 152% of GDP, a debt so insane, thanks to the leftist parties, that we are risking our credit rating. Our government managed through tough choices to reduce this to debt to 583.314.707.800,- LPD. That is 136% of GDP if we keep the current budget and taxes THIS year. That would significantly heal our finances. Furthermore we can increase spending or reduce some taxes and reduce our surplus, that is all discussable. But INCREASING our debt with 20 BILLION each year again? Insanity! Next I would like to state that presenting a budget is reserved to the Chancellor, I find it very distrubing that Labour produces such a badly thought out plan without even forming a cabinet first.... Typical! It shows we CANNOT trust Labour!!! Adam Horseiron Chancellor |

Message | Mr. Speaker, Although we are against the austerity plan from the former government, we LH, think it's vital to continue with austerity. We do believe in a more humane approach. We will vote NO on this and hope Labour will work with LH for a more balanced budget. YES we do want to increase spending, NO we do not want a deficit spending yet. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, Typical Whig behaviour - justify ransacking the most important parts of our economy to protect the least important, I ask of you. Justify making the worst off even worse off, just to make the most comfortable even more comfortable. And even if we don’t know those numbers the former chancellor blasts us for not knowing, at least we know our morals. At least we know the fundamental values so dearly lacking in the right. All of us have it to some extent, but it looks like the former Chancellor binned his in return for a big fat cheque. I hope he manages to find it without the torment of tearing through his mansion’s hundreds of wastepaper baskets. |
