Details

Submitted by[?]: Conservative Party (Whigs)

Status[?]: passed

Voting deadline: April 5261

Description[?]:

Mr. Speaker,

I am very very proud of the result of our coalition. For a long time our governing coalition has worked to strengthen Luthori. We have payed a significant part of the debt off, we stabilised government finances and are working to make sure that Luthori has a bright future! We invested in the economy, education and opened up our country for international partnerships. And this policy was rewarded by the electorate with another stunning majority.

But there is a change. The more moderate/centrist minded parties, the LH-NLP bloc have won 35 seats together. Which means that this coalition will focus more on those policies than the previous one. But this is no radical shift or large change. With our Conservative allies from Rally for Luthori and the National parties we will continue to build a stronger economy in which we let the free market work as autonomous and free as possible, intervene where the market needs help and provide government services through contracts to private companies who bid for said contract every four years. Thus providing public goods through efficient private companies while still holding up universal access.

But we must look to the horizon, for new friends and opportunities. We will invest in our safety by continuing our program of reforming and modernizing our army. Keep looking at our coal industry and how we can help develop that sector. Open new trade deals with friendly nations across the globe! Our Empire is open for business!

In short mr. Speaker, we will:
- Keep faith in the free market and provide public services and goods through private contractors;
- Invest in our industry, for example our coal industry;
- Invest in our infrastructure to facilitate trade and transport;
- Modernise our armed forces to keep us safe and strong;
- Work internationally to get better and new deals that strengthen our economy.

Lets get working for Luthori!

Random fact: Players have a responsibility to differentiate between OOC (out-of-character) and IC (in-character) behaviour, and to make clear when they are communicating in OOC or IC terms. Since Particracy is a role-playing game, IC excesses are generally fine, but OOC attacks are not. However, players must not presume this convention permits them to harass a player with IC remarks that have a clear OOC context.

Random quote: "Thousands of Zardic soldiers were sacrificed so that the Zardic government could gain control of a few buildings and Theodoro could pretend to be Augustus the Great. This is the kind of jingoistic ideology Zardugal would bring to the Security Council. They will throw countless lives away in pursuit of former glory." - Prince Akhaias, former Coburan royal
