we allow the energy company to operate unregulated but now want to regulate their pricing structures?
Allowing a companty to operate as a monopoly allows govt SOME input as far as regulatory guidelines.
I suggest this first be shot down and then latter re-issued to allow SOME regulation, at that time price controls for the needy can POSSIBLY be part of those govt. regulations.
Let's ttry and make some sense here. Let's also not allow a monopoly go without certain controls in place
(and there can not be more than one energy company, economies of scale and government right of ways etc will not allow for it)
