Bill: Anti-Corporate Information Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: National Centrist Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: May 2073
Description[?]:
This bill would, if passed, establish strict privacy laws that would prevent corporations from establishing invasive personel databases. It would require companies to justify or remove all information on private citizens. Furthermore, it would require that all citizens be able to view all records held on them by any company. Consent from the person who's data is archived is a fully valid justification if proven. This would force corporate databases to be stripped back to the bare minimum required for their particular field. Some pieces of information will be unremovable and publicly available. These will include: All citizens' criminal records, names, and level of education. This does not establish identity cards; these items of data will exist in an electronic format only. |

Message | Corporates have a right to information that you provide volutarily- I'm not sure if that fits in your definition, but thats what our party's stance is. I don't think people have the right to demand to see private information unless therehas been any harm done. |

Message | They are not demanding the right to see other's information. Yet they should be able to see their OWN information, which is all this guarantees. I'll amend this. If a person consents to allow access to a piece of information, that will be considered justification. |
