Message | A look on the main page says that the Pontesian mindset, on average, is ecologically sceptical, and the importance of the issue is tiny to their minds. Not only will this ultimatly force Pontesians into doing this, it'll be something against their stance on this issue. As democratically elected representatives of the people, we cannot allow this. |

Message | Our concern is not with Pontesi alone, but with the continent of Majatra and the Majatran people. Environmental protections are needed, and the mindset of the people will only change once education for the environment is begun. |

Message | The education is up to the private sector. The government and the population of the day are highly-ecologically sceptical and as such if such environmentalist things were to be brought into the cirriculum, it would cause public uproar until such statements were removed from it due to the current opposition to environmentalism. As such, the populus will not take up the viewpoints you seem to think will be bestowed upon them. This goes against the Pontesian people's minds. You are taking the votes of Pontesians to be here. The Bastards agree with being concerned with global co-operation but we are the legal body of the Pontesian people and the Pontesian people only. A law that might be fine in Cobura or Jakania or wherever else on the continent will only be fine in those states. We do not seek to impose rules on other countries or to have rules imposed on us from other countries except where there is agreement and potential for international concord. Pontesians disagree. This desire for homogenisation of the continent is making us wary. |
