SO as not to annoy foreign tourists who wish to view our beautiful nation and to also not invade the privacy of our citizens, we propose that intensive searches should not be mandatory. The government may still conduct such searches if the person in question is flagged for criminal activity, is carrying a weapon or object that could inflict damage upon others, or violates customs policies. |
