Bill: MLP Military Bill
Details
Submitted by[?]: Telamon Patriots' Bloc
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 2243
Description[?]:
This bill provides several necessary and beneficial changes to the armed forces of Telamon. First of all, the use of biological and chemical weapons should never be used under any circumstances - the practice is brutally inhuman. Even if they are used against us, we should never sink to the same level. Secondly, the military should be focusing on defending Telamon and training to defend Telamon. While the MLP agrees that for unit cohesiveness open homosexuals should not be allowed in the armed forces, the military has more important things to do that actively seeking them out. Finally, military service should only be a requirement during times of war as no one should be forced into a job the nation at that time does not need. Millions of citizens will now be able to contribute to Telamon's economy rather then sitting in barracks with guns and not doing anything productive. The MLP urges the passing of this legislation for the good of Telamon. |
