Description[?]:

During a debate in the Imperial Diet on the historic bill on the total abolition of the death penalty, Prime Minister Robinson was pleased to see that the government was so united on the end of this so-called "inhumane practice" by the left, these remarks caused a grunt coming from the right, but not what the Prime Minister expected, the right being rather in agreement with the government's idea on the death penalty, but wanted it lower on crimes of treason, against humanity etc..., but a comment coming from the Prime Minister will set fire to the powder, he called "the era" from which Luthori has just emerged "a dark age" this which had opposition politicians jumping, with the leader of the Imperial Conservative Union saying that Luthori had never been so prosperous in centuries and those thanks to the work of previous Tory governments, this was followed by a change of debate, ranging from the abolition of the death penalty, to the words of the Prime Minister, some wanting an apology from the Liberal Socialist Party for having described the period of prosperity that Luthori came and continues to go through, as "a dark age ", the Imperial Conservative Union lodged a formal appeal demanding an official apology from the Prime Minister for his disrespect for the work of his predecessors, the Liberal Socialist Party was silent, as was 10 Crown Street and the whole government on this controversy, and already, several demonstrators gathered near Crown Street to demand an apology, some going further, wanting the resignation of the Prime Minister, we have to see how the Prime Minister will respond to this controversy before drawing conclusions.

MessageMr Speaker & Honorable Members of Parliament,

As one of my final acts as PM of this country, I would like to take a moment to address the concerns that have been raised regarding my comments about the previous era. I understand that some may have taken offense to my characterization of that period as a "dark age," and I want to assure you that it was not my intention to dismiss the many achievements and progress that occurred during that time.

However, I do believe that it is important to acknowledge that there were significant challenges and difficulties that our society faced during that era. We cannot ignore the injustices and inequalities that existed, and we must learn from the mistakes of the past in order to create a better future.

That being said, I also recognize that there were many moments of hope, resilience, and progress during the previous era. We should not discount the hard work and dedication of those who fought for what they believed in, and we must build upon the successes of the past as we work towards a brighter future.

Thank you.

Rt. Hon’ Mark Robinson
PM of Luthori
Leader of the LSP
MP for Martwick Central & Hartwell
