Bill: Nationwide Hunting and Fishing Regulations of 2243

Details

Submitted by[?]: Democratic Socialist Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 2244

Description[?]:

Concerned about the differences between hunting and fishing regulations between our different states, and the possible confusion these differences might create, the DSP proposes that the following nationwide hunting and fishing laws be brought to effect, replacing the current local ones:

1- Hunting is not allowed in cities or other areas where accidental harming of fellow humans is likely, except to kill a wild animal potentially dangerous to the citizens of a city or town;

2 - Hunting is not allowed during the mating season of a given animal species, nor during the time when newborn animals are still dependant on their mothers for protection;

3 - For hunting larger animals, a hunting permit must be obtained from a state office. The permit may limit the number of animals a person may shoot per year. A fine will be imposed on hunters who exceed this restriction.

4 - A fishing permit must be obtained for non-professional net fishing.

5 - Fishing on major shipping routes (from boats or bridges) is not allowed in the interest public safety.
