These messages have been posted to debate on this bill:
Date | 09:11:26, June 26, 2006 CET | From | Jakania Union Party | To | Debating the Child Benefit Funding Adjustment Bill |
Message | We support this legislation. Local governments know best the level of funding necessary to raise a child in their area. Formula may be more expensive in Bogendo than in Nilaka. Diapers may be just the opposite. |
Date | 21:54:37, June 26, 2006 CET | From | Citizens For A Progressive Jakania | To | Debating the Child Benefit Funding Adjustment Bill |
Message | We cannot support this legislation, largely because of its wording. We have no problem with child benefit levels varying from region to region, provided there are national guarantees of basic minimums. This gives certain right-leaning regions licence to cut child benefit to unacceptable levels or even entirely. |

Random fact: Players have a responsibility to differentiate between OOC (out-of-character) and IC (in-character) behaviour, and to make clear when they are communicating in OOC or IC terms. Since Particracy is a role-playing game, IC excesses are generally fine, but OOC attacks are not. However, players must not presume this convention permits them to harass a player with IC remarks that have a clear OOC context. |
