Message | Wow, what a proposed switch! From outright banning them to providing subsidies!? Enough with all the damned subsidies, government is not in the business of giving money away, are we a socialist nation? Supposedly not but we are headed down that path very quickly with all these proposals! We will go along with allowing contraceptives, they are a matter of personal choice and freedom that govt has NO business sticking their noses into. But we would never apporove subsidies for their use. |

Message | We'll support. My esteemed collegues from the FC, you'll have to know this nation was under rightist rule for quite a while. This is the counter-reaction you see. |

Message | We are a religious nation and therefor this must be maintained. I am urging everyone to oppose this bill to maintain the morality of our nation. A vote for this proposal is a vote against morality. |

Message | Opposed but not as a vote for morality as a vote to keep government in it's place and in our bedrooms is not the place government belongs! |
Date | 19:26:24, June 27, 2006 CET | From | Rightist Party | To | Debating the contraceptives bill |
Message | Agreed with both the Patriot Party and the Federal Conservatives. |
Date | 06:01:48, June 29, 2006 CET | From | The Riaz Party | To | Debating the contraceptives bill |
Message | What is with all the subisidies? I would have agreed to this if it was just removing the ban on contraceptives, but, the government shouldn't be subsidizing people to have sex. In fact, I'd tax the contraceptives, call it a pleasure tax or something! |
