Description[?]:
In light of moves within the Valruzian Federation towards the use of weapons of mass destruction, We are concerned about the treaty we currently are sharing with them. We in the Manion Party feel that perhaps we should withdraw from this treaty at this time, so that it may be re-drafted when the political climate in the Valruzian Federation stabilises. |

Message | The BaCP is concerned at this move. While instability is indeed profitable for us, by the same token if our country is a smoking hole we can't see much benefit. As Likatonia is members of NATO and more importantly, the North Selayan defence organisation (a Likatonian initiative) that flanks Valruzia on two sides, on balance we feel that although we dislike the Valruzian moves they are effectively contained. The Treaty we have is result of much effort after eons of mutual suspicion and isolationism. The removal of this treaty, we feel, would harm Likatonia far more than Valruzia. We do not rule this out as course of action as a way of protesting the changes in Valruzia - however we feel it is too early to play our 'trump' card just yet. We thank the Manion party for bringing this important issue to the attention of the convocation. |

Message | We are inclined to agree with our allies in the Bribery and Corruption Party. The Treaty between our two nations is a well-crafted document - forged over many (sometimes agonising) years. It is both a source of agreement between nations who might, otherwise, find contention - AND a remarkably non-constricting treaty. The Axis Mundi Revolution! DOES have a history of being a 'treaty-breaker'... but we see no need to break this treaty. |

Message | As the Valruzian Bill is scheduled to pass or fall in two months time, I am happy to defer. this still leaves time for our nation to take a stand should the need arise. I will vote in the affirmative for now, but should the Valruzian bill fail to pass, I will join the nay's. |
