MessageWe are disturbed by the decision of the NDP to offer the premiership to the IFP, a party which has a very questionable record when it comes to human rights and civil liberties. Of all parties, we would never have expected the NDP to have placed a theocratic party at such a high position in government.

MessageAs the Populist Freedom Party has been inactive for over a week, this may not pass regardless. Still, allow the IPC to likewise register its surprise. While the parties in this proposed coalition agree on economic issues, I would have expected the differences on civil liberties to make such an offer unlikely. We evidently suspected wrong.

MessageWe take not of this offer for a new coalition and are willing to support it. However, we feel that the IPC should be allowed to make the first attempt at forming a coalition, as the big winner of the most recent elections. We ask the NDP to put this bill on hold to give the IPC that chance.

MessageThe IPC is satisfied with the current coalition, under Chancellor Desneyers, but thanks the IFP for its consideration. While this proposal disappoints us, we have no objection to bringing this coalition proposal to a vote and letting the chips fall as they may.

MessageThough it does not matter much, as the Ikradoni Labour Party lacks seats for the time being, we would happily support this diverse coalition.

MessageAs the largest party the IFP should be the head of government in a new coalition, we feel. Changes to laws will still have to be put to a vote in the Assembly and we assure the FFP that Ikradon's human rights situation will not be negatively impacted.

MessageWe are disturbed by the very idea of the IFP not being supportive of human rights. Our party platform clearly states that everyone is entitled to basic rights, just as they have basic duties as well. This stance will become visible in the new cabinet, should it be sworn in.

Random fact: When your party holds the foreign affairs department, you can create new treaties. However, before writing anything new, it is a good idea to search for existing treaties which already accomplish what you desire.
