Message | We have no view on abortion being right or wrong, and can understand both sides of this position. We prefer to leave the government out of this and allow the individuals involved to make what they feel is the best choice according to their own moral code. We would like to say however, that their is always room for more Malivians and should any family need finanical assistance due to a newborn, they can stop by their local Gerajan temple or turn to other worthwhile organizations. We also suggest that if this bill should pass, and even if it doesn't, we in the government should provide more assistance to families in need. This will help prevent abortions from being seen as a necessity for those families without the finacial support needed to raise a child. |

Message | While I understand the Protecterate Party's view, I must disagree when it comes to late term abortions. At 18 weeks, a fetus is able to survive with the help of an ICU unit, and in some instances, on it's own. The practice of late term abortion means inducing partial birth, stabbing a living human in the back of it's neck with a pair of scissors, and calling it abortion. I don't know about you, but if you're pregnant, 99.99999% of women know they are pregnant in the first 9 weeks, and can take care of it then. We, personally, don't agree with it, but it is the law of the land, and we must respect that. However, we cannot sit by and allow the murdering of children (by any definition of any scientist) in the name of birth control. Furthermore, on the topic of abortion as a whole, if I simply did not want my arm any more, does the law allow me to cut it off at free will? No. It's a medical procedure and should be treated as such. |

Message | We cannot support this without at least an increase in aid to families. |
