Bill: Introduce copy protection

Details

Submitted by[?]: Patriotic Libertarian Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 2071

Description[?]:

Why so little inventions, pieces of art and culture are created here?
Because there is no copy protection!
People have no motivation to come up with anything new if they can't profit from it. Therefore I suggest some reasonable copy protection law.

As for the debate: I'm supporting this as the PLP have confirmed it is limitied. I mean who in this country could even dream of making a living besides factory workers and politicians?

MessageOnly copy protection will make them make up something for the people - if the people will like it, it will sell and he'll profit from it. While we have socialism - they make art the way the politicians like it.

Messagein a repsonsive direct democracy the people have direct control over the art supported , that said there should be an element of peer support ,but politicians are irrelevant in the matter.

anyway as for patents although it may shock you most inventors artists and artisans arnt out there to create a quick buck its their investors who are , now the people are their investors and the people should share all the benefits of their work.
