Message | Aloria's Social Democrats oppose this bill. We believe that the energy generation is essential for our country's welfare and therefore the state should co-operate with the private sector. Regulation is also necessary to make sure that the post office stays a service and does not become just another way for corporations to make profit. The market is not panacea for everything. Don't let the Capitalists or the Libertarians tell you that. |

Message | Article One we can support but we disagree with Article Two. The result? A Noe from us. |
Date | 23:31:22, July 06, 2006 CET | From | Patriotic Front | To | Debating the Market Freedom Act 2249 |
Message | We shall oppose this bill, for it opens the way for companies to take advantage of ordinary Alorians. The people of Aloria deserve to have a Post Office and an Energy provider that are not foremost concerned with exploiting them and making a profit, but with providing a decent service. The status-quo has served Aloria well, we see no reason to change it. |
