Message | An Act to protect passive smokers. |
Date | 01:19:28, July 06, 2006 CET | From | Partido Socialista | To | Debating the Smoking Act 2249 |
Message | Smoking is devastating not only for the smoker's health but also for the ones near him. Social Democrats believe that at least passive smokers should be protected by the National Government and therefore we propose a partial smoking ban in public places. |
Date | 04:43:32, July 06, 2006 CET | From | Libertarian Party of Aloria | To | Debating the Smoking Act 2249 |
Message | So whats next with your protection? Protection of second hand keg party goers? The government has no responsibility to protect anyone who knowingly walks into an establishment and sits down next to a smoker. That is THEIR fault, it's THEIR responsibility to change tables, or simply leave. Banning indoor smoking takes things much to far. We vote NO. |

Message | Look - they should have the right to go into such establishments and not be forced to sit far away from smokers, or not be able to go to nay place of that type at all. |
Date | 16:44:52, July 06, 2006 CET | From | Democratic Liberal Party | To | Debating the Smoking Act 2249 |
Message | I'm in favour. Let's protect non-smokers. |
Date | 00:14:21, July 07, 2006 CET | From | Patriotic Front | To | Debating the Smoking Act 2249 |
Message | We stand against this bill. Few things are as satisfying in life as smoking a cigarette. We should protect that pleasure for each and every Alorian. We will not allow the Social Democrats to embark on a crusade against smoking, to create an atmosphere of anti-fumatory fascism. |

Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, it is the responsibility of players to ensure the candidate boxes on their Party Overview screens are filled in with appropriate names. If a player is allotted seats in a Cabinet bill and has not filled in names for the relevant candidate position, then the program will automatically fill in the positions with names which might not necessarily be appropriate for the Cultural Protocols. |
