Date | 19:47:18, July 07, 2006 CET | From | Liberty Party | To | Debating the Income tax proposal of October 2250 |
Message | The effects of this change are as follows: For those with incomes of up to TRA1430 there will be no effect (already paying 0 tax); for those with incomes of TRA2500 they were paying 8% of their income in tax, will pay 3% of their income; for those with incomes of TRA5000 they were paying 14% of their income in tax, they will pay 10%; for those with incomes of TRA10000 they were paying 16% of their income and will now pay 13%; for those with incomes of TRA50000 they were paying 18% of their income and will now pay 15%. As can be seen, this tax policy will benefit ALL income tax payers and the benefits will be most felt by lower earners. |
