Message | maybe GGP are the idiots. One should not concieve politics as a contest between the rich and poor, i todays globalising world, the so called rich are always going to increase their wealth, the question is whether the so called poor increase their material status as well. By decreasing the tax on corporations its allows them to invest more capital in other areas which in turn benefits all the citizens. The same with the luxury goods tax. If you notice anything about the real world, poor countries are poor because they have no capital to invest in their country, western nations have the advantage because they have a group of people with lots of capital and it should be utilised to help all. Allowing the rich to spend their money on what they want will only create opportunities in other areas of the economy for new jobs etc etc, which help the so called poor you seem very concerned about. And the slaes tax on non-luxury items, well some one has to pay for it, and there everyone has to contribute to the well being of society. In real life i come from a place where we have a sales tax on everything at the same rate which everyone pays, and it does not seem to cause any problems I urge you all to vote for this, for the good of Lodamun and her citizens |
