Message | New Democrats will not support-- we are pushing to extend abortion rights to the second trimester. |

Message | Why is this even a matter for the government to decide? Isn't this better handled at the local level? |
Date | not recorded | From | New Democrats of Rutania | To | Debating the Amendment to Criminal Code, Article I |
Message | If it is handled at the local level, it's still being decided by government. It's a human rights issue, and variance in the application of human rights will not be tolerated. |

Message | Also, regional control of abortion policy isn't a proposal option. When you make a bill, you need to add proposals. Only the content of proposals affects law and public opinion. |

Message | I'm calling for an appeal, which once I figure out how to do/if it is implimented, I will do. The entire point is local, not federal. I fail to see how abortion is a 'human right'. Not even the courts buy that, most abortion arguments center around the right to privacy, which is highly shaky grounds. |

Message | repeal...sigh, my head hurts >.< Less vodka more sleep less vodka more sleep |
Date | not recorded | From | New Democrats of Rutania | To | Debating the Amendment to Criminal Code, Article I |
Message | By human right, I meant a civil right. Right to privacy in making decisions regarding one's own body. |

Message | I disagree with the conservative party on two main points. For one thing, government on a local level is still to all intents and purposes government. This is clearly a decision which must be made across the board, by national government. I do, by the way, support the legalization of abortion to a fairly maximal degree. Secondly, I disagree with the conservative "less vodka more sleep" suggestion. I propose more vodka and less sleep. |

Message | For once, I agree completely with the Libertarian Alcoholic Party. |
Date | not recorded | From | Conservative Party | To | Debating the Amendment to Criminal Code, Article I |
Message | I fail to see how a 'right to privacy' trumps the right to life. |
Date | not recorded | From | New Democrats of Rutania | To | Debating the Amendment to Criminal Code, Article I |
Message | It doesn't, but a fetus is not a human being. |
Date | not recorded | From | Conservative Party | To | Debating the Amendment to Criminal Code, Article I |
Message | There we must disagree. |
Date | not recorded | From | Conservative Party | To | Debating the Amendment to Criminal Code, Article I |
Message | Anyhow, any objections to a motion to bring this to a floor vote? |
Date | not recorded | From | RSDP - Democratic Front | To | Debating the Amendment to Criminal Code, Article I |
Message | I wouldn't object to bring this to vote, but I would vote against this proposed bill. |
Date | not recorded | From | Imperial Party | To | Debating the Amendment to Criminal Code, Article I |
Message | Abortion should only be permitted in medical emergencies. It shouldn't be the mothers choice to decide, it should be the choice of the bureacracy. |
Date | not recorded | From | To | Debating the Amendment to Criminal Code, Article I |
Message | The Liberal Party will not support restrictions placed upon the woman's right to choice. |
Date | not recorded | From | Libertarian Alcoholic Par-tay | To | Debating the Amendment to Criminal Code, Article I |
Message | The Libertarian Alcoholic Party is pro-abortion. Fetuses, at least in early stages of development, do not constitute human beings. Thus, the choice falls upon the woman who's body is involved (at least during the first trimester)/ |
