Message | The Anarch Anakrousite Party sees risk, here. The risk that those who need help most, are going to be punished if this legislation doesn't pass... but, shouldn't the free market be able to take care of even the weakest members of society? |

Message | From: The Office of Supreme Grand Lord Oreus Mallok VI The RSOHS see this as an excellent Bill, with great potential. Unfortunately, there is the potential for great abuse. Asylum seekers, transients, and non-native Likatonians would all be clawing for a share of the hard earned LIK in the public purse. Until our borders and people are safe, we could not support this Bill. With Regret, Supreme Grand Lord Oreus Mallok VI |

Message | In a big shocker, the HSP supports doing all the right things. In less of a shocker, they support doing so, for all the wrong reasons. |

Message | While we understand RSOHS's opposition on the grounds of non-desirables benefitting, we still feel that this is urgent enough an issue to bepushed forwards before dealing with immigration. As to the AAS's pointers, the ISM is of the view that welfare is an area where the private sector cannot be left to its own devices. Although private charity is a positive option, it cannot be gaurenteed that enough money can be raised when it is needed via individuals or private orgs, thus the govt. must take the lead here. |

Message | From: Supreme Grand Lord Oreus Mallok VI Feel free to ignore the AAP(R), everyone else does. Perhaps if this Bill was given some teeth to protect it, we would be more inclined to support... |

Message | We truly do see the argument being made by the ISM, and we are inclined to agree with the underlying sympathies. Indeed - until recently, we would have supported this measure wholeheartedly. As it stands, though... we must, unfortunately, rely on the idea of personal charity. And hope for the best. |

Message | In response to the HSP: We would like to say how much we appreciate your contribution to the debate. But, we chose not to spread such falsehoods. We congratulate the ISM on creating authoritarian policy that even the HSP can't swallow. |

Message | From: Supreme Grand Lord Oreus Mallok VI Another AAP(R) flip-flop, we see. You are indeed merely a fair-weather friend to our most needy citizens. We would happily support this compassionate Bill, were it protected from misuse. |
Date | 21:18:14, July 10, 2006 CET | From | Commonwealth Workers Army | To | Debating the Welfare Bill |
Message | Since the biggest risk to misuse, would be the involvement of the HSP, the BEST protection, is the refusal of the HSP to support. |
