Message | From: Supreme Grand Lord Oreus Mallok VI When our government is busy with matters of ture consequence (regardless of your position, you would surely agree that), why does the AAP(R) try the patience of our people with gag bills, designed merely to choke up Convocation time, and distract our government from more pressing matters. This Bill mocks the citizens of our nations, and the AAP(R) should be ashamed. Were we not so busy trying to serve our nation, we would propose a motion of censure. |

Message | On the contrary - the Anarch Anakrousite party has seen yet more nationalistic, theocratic, fascistic legislation, since the start of the difficulties brought upon us by the Hawk Faction. This is an attempt to combat such prejudicial politics, at least in the religious arena. Far from being a 'gag' bill, this legislation would 'set in stone' one of the core values of Likatonia - freedom from interference. |

Message | How about we introduce a new religion by the name of "GTHOOOW"... Get the hell out of our way? Once again we find ourselves reaching across the gulf of faith to link hands with our friends in the Holy Star Party. We echo the words and sentiments of Supreme Grand Lord Oreus Mallok VI. Another attempt at rediculing religion to laughable measure.. at least the LFF has the honesty to say religion should be eradicated, rather than trying to trivialise it to the point of it becoming a non-issue. |

Message | While we understand and applaud the intent of this bill, we find that we cannot support it for it sets a dangerous precedent of establishing a mandatory religion. Today's forced religion has tolerance as it's core tennent, but what will tomorrow's have? Furthermore, this religion coule be taken to prohibit any evangalistic actions, which is a restrictyion on the beliefs of those who feel a need to convince others of their beliefs. |

Message | We hear what the AM RLP has to say... good points all. In response - the AAP thinks that enforced religions are a bad thing, and that is the target of this bill... to establish a mechanism to avoid mandatory religion.... by creating a 'denomination-free' model, that allows for every religion and the atheist. Perhaps 'forced religions' of a more 'real' type might follow later, from other parties... the HSP already offered one earlier this term... and the AAP opposed. But - that shouldn't impact THIS bill. Regarding evangelism... the AAP position on evangelism is that it's fine, so long as the evangelist and the victim agree... but no one should be FORCED to endure attacks in the street, just because one religion thinks their message more important than another person's freedom from interference. |
