| Message | Originally, (in the 1300's) constituencies were towns that met a certain population. Each county would also have a member. This led to a large number of MP's. This tradition has been continued by keep constituencies small. There is not equal parity, however, for some constituencies have 18,000 inhabitants whilst others have 8,000. I just simply like the number and tried to think of a good reason for having that number. Just to keep you updated, there will be 650 at the next general election. Please support this. |
