Details
Submitted by[?]: Páirtí Sóisialach
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: June 2256
Description[?]:
The Conservative and Unionist Party would like to establish, as government policy, the long-term privatisation of the nationalised industries and telecommunications opperatives. The evils of nationalisation shall be recognised and the affected industries and markets shall be liberated over time, so as to allow private ownership of the public companies. The private market, providing more capital and wide investment opportunities should be the final resting-place of all public companies and holdings. This resolution seeks such legislation by October 2270. The Conservative and Unionist Party seeks support and unanimous consent to this resolution. |

Message | The Telamon Radical Left relishes its opportunity to cast this, our maiden vote, in dissent. Private ownership is a farce and contrary to the principles of a true Telamon commonwealth. |

Random fact: In cases where a party has no seat, the default presumption should be that the party is able to contribute to debates in the legislature due to one of its members winning a seat at a by-election. However, players may collectively improvise arrangements of their own to provide a satisfying explanation for how parties with no seats in the legislature can speak and vote there. |
