Bill: GP Head of State Alteration Constitutional Reform Bill

Details

Submitted by[?]: Gnazenal Phr'unt

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 2261

Description[?]:

Realizing that the Bill in the last session to bring about an hereditary Head of State has merely installed the last elected President, John Craig, as HoS, we propose this Bill in order to overturn that momentus mistake. This will once more make the HoS democratically elected, allowing the ALF to install the right candidate for HoS.

If this Bill passes, it will automatically trigger a fresh set of elections.

MessageBasically the passage of this Bill would allow this Bill http://80.237.164.51/particracy/main/viewbill.php?billid=72831 to be poperly completed, the Craig dynasty was not supposed to ascend to the throne, the Kregraplavia Dynasty was.

MessageCCF, I am sure we should be able to come up with something interesting. DSP, were you here when the monarchy was around in the 2160's? What title did he have?

MessageIt was President then too.

The bill that made Lodamun a monarchy (I voted against it then):
http://80.237.164.51/particracy/main/viewbill.php?billid=27145

The last bill before that dealing with HoS title, showing it was president:
http://80.237.164.51/particracy/main/viewbill.php?billid=17952

There were unsuccessful attempts to change it to King, though.
