This bill is aimed at allowing citizens to practice their religion and receive a voluntary education in their religion. This bill is not aimed at forcing religion down the throats of our people, it is simply providing another option for our people. |

Current: The state does not intervene in the appointment of ministers of any religion whatsoever.

Taxation of religious institutions.
Old value:: All religious income, despite the use, is taxed.
Current: Religious taxation policy is left to the local governments.
Proposed: Religions are treated as companies, and all profit is taxed, however, charitable donations are not taxed.

Old value:: Religious schools are not allowed.
Current: Religious schools are allowed, but are strictly regulated. Only recognised religions may set up religious schools.

Message | The religious oppresion was the biggest reason the IRP disliked the Communist Revolution. We support. |

Message | After looking at this again the IRP realizes that religion, although helpful, may be counterproductive to the Revolution. We will abstain for now and see how things work. If religion becomes necessary we shall take the steps to reinstate it. |
