MessageOpposed. What keeps a profit seeking corporation from dumping the waste its supposed to handle nicely in the local pond? Sure we might catch them 90% of the time, but why give them the chance to commit the offense? Government control is securer simply because the government isn't out to make a profit, it's looking to do the job well enough so that those in charge and who are elected can keep their job. There's simply more accountability the old way.
