| This bill seeks to begin enforcing our already existing pollution prevention guidelines. It is no secret that many corporations are sadly lacking in conscience when it comes to ethical and environmental issues. Whilst we do not seek to abolish such corporations, we believe it is necessary to enforce at least moderate restrictions on pollution, as many companies are too profit-minded to resist cutting corners when it comes to environmental protection. It is a cliche, true, but we must act now to ensure that Hobrazia, and indeed Terra, are not ruined for subsequent generations because we allowed companies to pollute our rivers, air, oceans and soil for the sake of profit margins. |
