Message | It's just a technical revision, so yes. Of course, we still vehemently oppose having the Social Democracy symbol on the flag. |
Date | 02:55:48, August 06, 2006 CET | From | Catholic Workers Union | To | Debating the NCS Second Edition Bill |
Message | We like to think of it as a symbol of universal brotherhood, not attached to any particular ideology, although with our country's mildly socialist electorate, the symbolism is not at all unsuitable. We'll have to wait for the C&UP to return to put this to a vote. |
Date | 23:17:12, August 06, 2006 CET | From | Telamon Patriots' Bloc | To | Debating the NCS Second Edition Bill |
Message | Both of these flags are disgusting symbols of socialism and we will propose an alternate flag. OOC: I'll vote for this because it makes the flag clearer. |

Message | Thanks. If you really oppose it, propose an alternative later on, something fascist or whatever. But there is no reason why our nation should be saddled in the mean time with my first attempt, which is clearly pixelated. And we remind all that our flag is not meant to invoke socialism. It's about national unity and brotherhood. The symbol is actually an ancient Telamonite symbol, dating all the way back to the last monarchy. Several socialist organizations have since hijacked it for their own purposes. And furthermore, to clarify, we are not socialists. We are a confederation of a wide range of leftist politics, although more and more our members are either gravitating towards Industrial Democracy and Syndicalism. |

Message | Remember, this is completely technical. Vote for it no matter what your opinions are on the flag itself. In fact, consider this an OOC vote, please. We need to get a clearer image up top. |
