Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: December 2272
Description[?]:
This isn't radical. We're just asking that private health facilities be regulated and reviewed regularly to ensure that they're not performing any unsavory practices, like harvesting organs without consent or mistreating their patients. It's a precautionary measure. |
Proposals

Proposal[?] to change Health care policy.
Old value:: There is a public health care system, but private clinics are allowed.
Current: Health care is entirely public and free; private clinics are banned.
Proposed: There is a free public health care system and a small number of private clinics, which are heavily regulated to ensure they treat their patients well and provide good care.

Message | "Private clinics are allowed" doesn't mean a free-for-all. Presumably, any sane government would already regulate against illegal organ retention. This looks like an excuse to nationalise more private healthcare to us; we thus oppose. |

Message | It's not an excuse for nationalization, we're just attempting to ensure that private clinics aren't running wild. |

Message | I hope the SSPP will support another sane and moderate proposal to advance better healthcare. |

Message | I understand your motives, but they stem from trauma to your natural nationalistic tendencies. Though this move could be rational to some Conservatives in Britain who don't know any better, we cannot support the expansion of the state in this area. |
