FromFenner Brockway Socialist Party
ToDebating the Death Penalty Reinstatement Act
MessageWe cannot agree - we believe the death penalty is a barbarism, doesn't deter crime, brutalises society as a whole, degrades the executioner, and carries an inevitable risk of killing the innocent.

MessageWhy shouldn't our world's worst criminals face our world's worst punishment?

FromAldegar Social Democratic Party
ToDebating the Death Penalty Reinstatement Act
MessageWe will not agree with this either. We believe the death penalty is a cruel, unnecessary punishment; as the FBSP said, it also can kill the innocent. Even the world's worst criminals do not deserve to have death as their only option.

FromCommunist Party of Aldegar
ToDebating the Death Penalty Reinstatement Act
MessageWe are against this proposal as it would legalise state-sponsored murder and would not be a deterrant.

Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, special care must be taken to ensure realism is maintained when role-playing a government controlled by an ethnic and/or religious minority. If it is to be supposed that this government is supported by a majority of the population, then this should be plausibly and sufficiently role-played. The burden of proof is on the player or players role-playing such a regime to demonstrate that it is being done realistically
