| O Partido Liberal é absolutamente contra o uso da tecnologia nuclear para fins militares (armamento nuclear). No entanto esta tem várias outras aplicações, muitas vezes desconhecidas, noutras áreas como a medicina nuclear, a energia assim como tem diversas aplicações industriais. Achamos por isso uma má aposta, quanto ao progresso científico e tecnológico do país, uma lei que restringe a possibilidade da realização de investigação e de desenvolvimento nesta área, obviamente, excluindo os fins da produção de armamento nuclear, cuja produção permanece proíbida. Achamos que com a alteração da lei são melhor servidos os interesses do país. |
