Bill: Likatonian Loyalty Act 2275
Details
Submitted by[?]: Likaton Coalition of the Willing
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: August 2276
Description[?]:
This bill contains two provisions. The first is to break of diplomatic ralations with Keymon, by expelling any and all keymonites in Likatonia, and imposing a trade embargo by increasing tariffs on imported Keymon goods to prohibitive levels. The second, and arguably more important provision, is this; That the organisation known as the "AM Meria Separatist Alliance" be declared renegade, and barred from the Convocation. It clearly does not have the interests of the Likaton peoples at heart, and is statedly against the interests of the majority. We cannot physically bar them, but we ask that all parties vote against all Bills raised by these rogues, and that they receive no suport from legitimate government. |
Proposals
Article 1

Message | "The Democratic Facist Alliance speak of what the do not know. We of the AM Meria Separatist Alliance do have the interests of all Likatons in mind, we simply make the interests of Merians our priority. Once we acheive freedom for Meria we will become more of a national party, with national policies." -- Michael Makaveilli |

Message | "Speaking on behalf of the government of Keymon I question your decision to once again severe relations between our nations. We are still recovering from the brutal invasion of the 2260's and with your nations proposing the ratification of our Neutrality Agreement it appears that we can once again live in peace. To damage the spirit of cooperation we have managed to recently restore would be foolish indeed." -- Kelzang Choklang, Minister of Foreign Affairs |

Message | Fortunately, at this time, the 'rebel' element, who seem looking for a cause to agitate, lack the votes to force their agendas through. The Axis Mundi Revolution fears what might happen if this balance is upset. |
Date | 20:08:45, August 28, 2006 CET | From | AM Radical Libertarian Party | To | Debating the Likatonian Loyalty Act 2275 |

Date | 22:27:10, August 28, 2006 CET | From | Liberal Intellectual Party | To | Debating the Likatonian Loyalty Act 2275 |
Message | We do not support this and are worried by the DFAs treatment of Keymon as if it was an enemy and the treatment of the AM Meria Separatist Alliance who are a legitimate party, it may be true they have their own certain priorities but it is their right to form a party and we shall never oppose that. |

Random fact: In cases where players introduce RP laws to a nation and then leave, Moderation reserves the discretion to declare the RP laws void if they appear to have fallen into disuse. In particular, please bear in mind that a player who is inexperienced with Particracy role-play and has joined a nation as the only party there should not generally be expected to abide by RP laws implemented by previous players who have been and left. |
