Description[?]:
-Clauft-Tuttle Foreign Policy Readjustment Bill- An Act to Extend Telamonite Compassion Beyond Our Borders Section 1: Recognizing the unpopular and inconvenient position recent Soviet spear-headed foreign policy changes have put our nation in, this bill will take action on the following fronts: ---A. Recognizing the benefits of increased interaction with the international community, it will be the policy of this government to encourage visitation by foreign missionaries, and to promote a national/international dialogue on important questions of religion, spirituality, and toleration. ---B. It will be the policy of this government to allow all those residing within the borders of the Telamon Commonwealth to claim citizenship. Such relaxed regulations will prevent discrimination based on race, religion, creed, or financial situation. ---C. Although this government recognizes the relative poverty of its own people, it will not prohibit offering assistance to those abroad in need of goods which the people of Telamon enjoy in abundance. It will be the policy of this government to offer liberal amounts of aid to all people in need everywhere. Our compassion will not be contained within the artificial boundaries of state and nation. ---D. All refugees will be welcome to enter and reside within our borders. Such aid as is necessary to help in their integration will be given as needed. ---E. In the interest of promoting the financially lucrative business of tourism, the policy of this government henceforth will be to allow most guests entrance, and will impose only cursory security as needed to ensure national security. Section 2: Upon passage of this bill, the House Subcommitees on Security, Tourism and Residency will make the necessary arrangements to see these measures carried out in full. |

Random fact: Parties have the ability to endorse another party's candidate for the Head of State election (if there is one). This adds a strategic element to the elections. |
