Message | I find myself laughing at the Nationalist response to this bill not because the comments are silly, but because it if the first time i have seen such direct and brutal opinions on such a bill and worded in such a manner... The amazing part also is they are correct on every single point |

Message | I cannot agree with the nationailsts or the LDP. on a number of these points. To equate refugees with the Lazy,, banned convicted, dumb, is ridiculous. In most cases refugees have risked life and limb to travel to this country they have shown a great deal of resourcefulness and they have shown a committment in becoming part of vanuku that many people born here have never shown. They are the people I would want as citizens they are the people I would be proud to call my countrymen. Article 4 is supported by the SD. The fact that a country requires aid or is in need does not mean it's government is corrupt it does not mean it is a dictatorship. In the event of natural disasters, many countries require aid, in the case of environmental factors, drought, flood hurricane can see any country requiring outside aid. Tomorrow it could be our neighbours, or it could be Vanuku. Given that our economy is in such good shape, does it not make sense to use some of that money to buy international good will. The SD supports article 3. On the first and seconf aticles however I do agree, though not in such inflamatory and divisive language with the LDP and the NAtionalist party. Being a good international citizen does not mean, being an international push over. Vanuku must retain control over who comes in and who does not, and must reserve it's right to deny entry to those we consider undesirable. The people of Vanuku have entered into a social contract with this government, it is not our place to throw open the doors to people who may be unwilling orunable to abide by that contract. |

Message | Article 4 in its present forms allows those people that the SD mentions into the country, the change to article 4 is unnecessary. The concerns raised by the SD have already been met with under the current legislation. |

Message | I don't entirely agree. A person can be a refugee, and not be fleeing from extreme circumstances. They could be an economic refugee, they could be a political refugee, fleeing because of the risk (rather than an actuality of political oppression), they may be a refugee as a result of cultural or religous factors, that may not place them in extreme circumstances. My point is that anyone who is a genuine refugee, who chooses to start a new life in this country should be free to do so, and The SD would welcome them. I think there is a further debate to be had as to how we define refugee but their is not that option in the game as yet. |

Random fact: Particracy does not allow official national flags of real-life nations or flags which are very prominent and recognisable (eg. the flags of the European Union, the United Nations, Nazi Germany, the Soviet Union or the Confederate States of America). |
