MessageWe believe that the Aldegarian Grand Council shouldn't endorse or reject certain types of relationships. If the local governments want to endorse relationships, that's fine, but it is far from within this body's power to endorse or reject certain types of relationships. This bill in no way endorses banning homosexual marriages, despite the ASDP's comments.

MessageHowever, if local governments can do what they feel like with the definition of marriage, same-sex couples would probably not get recognition in the more conservative areas of Aldegar (a.k.a. banning same-sex marriage) , which WOULD discriminate against homosexuals.
