Bill: La Réstauration de la Droite! (II)

Details

Submitted by[?]: Capitalizt Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 2285

Description[?]:

This multi-oriented bill aims to restore several policies that have been deprived of their common value that was freedom - a word so much used by almost every Hobrazian party... with opposite results.

We propose to lower Corporation tax from 40 to 15%
We propose to let privates have the possibility to set up defense industries...
...and of course any kind of industry privates want to set up.
*We also ask to leave Labor Unions alone with no subsidy whatsoever...
*We also ask to leave people free to advertise what and as they like - under certain restrictions
*We also ask to reduce State welfare concerning public housing: give the opportunity of government-controlled housing only to those who need it.

*Asterisks being proposals which are vote-in-progress, but will be soon implemented.

Last but not least, we'd like to ask to each party what's their definition of freedom, thank you.

However, I've also asked this "we'd like to ask to each party what's their definition of freedom"
I'd be glad to hear your opinions.

MessageFreedom is... freedom is to be able to live, to breath, to see, to move, to have a family, to grow up, to learn, to think, to be. These are the liberties those of the Union believe must be defended.

The question proposed causes us to surmise that the capitalists are asking us really 'is not private property and all that freedom? the right to own stuff?'. In some respects yes, it is a liberty. And so is cutting off cousine Dibly's arm. If he has an infection in that arm and there's no docs around for at least a weeks travel, and he'll die in two days if you don't lop it off, then its a good thing being able to take hatchet to flesh. But if Dibly's fine and just coming over to say hello, it isn't right.

If my daughter is sick and in need of medicine, is it right for me to give up eating to pay for treatments? No it is not. If I need to work 60 hours to pay the bills, and we're talking the minimum bills one can have such as rent, food, and transportation, and thus have no time other than to sleep, thus being forced into a life of servitude, unable to take part in the joy that is life, is that right? It is not. Is it right that those who hold wealth are treated with kid gloves do to the power they hold in a capitalist society while those who make the same or lesser transgressions pay harshley for their errors? Not at all.

Greed, servitude, poor health, inequalities. These are the dangers we stand against. This bill is defeated.
