Bill: Legalisation of the Body
Details
Submitted by[?]: Liberty Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: February 2284
Description[?]:
How can the State criminalise the human body? The very notion is absurd. Of course it is true that certain weak-minded individuals may be offended by the sight of a human body, but the sight of such narrow-minded individuals may equally offend other individuals. There cannot be any right to impose one's own arbitrary standards of taste on the whole of humanity and anyone who seeks to do so regards himself your master and you his slave. |

Random fact: "Treaty-locking", or ratifiying treaties that completely or nearly completely forbid any proposals to change laws, is not allowed. Amongst other possible sanctions, Moderation reserves the discretion to delete treaties and/or subject parties to a seat reset if this is necessary in order to reverse a treaty-lock situation. |
